Tabitha’s Grandma is very clever – and very kind. Last week this amazing dolly arrived in the post – made entirely by hand by my Mum for Tabitha. She’s a very clever Grandma.
No pattern and no sewing machine – I’m not quite sure how she did it – I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have the patience to make something anywhere near as this good or with as much detail. She comes complete with under-trousers, dress, pinafore, cape, shoes and a little teddy who fits perfectly inside her pocket.
I’m not sure who loves her more out of Tabitha and I – there was certainly a tear in my eye as the wrapping was torn open and the dolly was given the biggest hug whilst Tabitha said ‘I love her soooooo much’.
Possibly the best ever post to receive?
Thank-you Grandma – we will treasure her forever xx

Wow. What a gorgeous doll. My little-est would go crazy for one of those…. But like you I don’t think I’d have the patience!
Oh, that is so lovely! I’d love to make a dolly for my boys, but there’s no way I have the patience!
